Before I left i rode some of the new trail... it made me very tired... thank you I guess I better get out the ole helmet and gloves and start riding the doubles again... we can't have those close down now can we? Loc-M-Ups you will submit once again... just you wait... Rhyno can't close.. that is like THE essential trail for the loops i like...

What are we looking like for Friday guys? I'm off from work and gonna try to head that way if it doesn't rain.

It was perrrrrfect. Still a bit of water in the mixmaster and Rhino, but nothing to stop you from riding.

    Thursday night ride report

Large tree and greenbrair vines down on south Arroyo.

Need to cut a little stump out of the top switchback on Cali. Pretty sure it got me in the side when I went down.

Two good spills left me with bruises on my hip, thigh and shin. btw - 1.95 motoraptors suck in the traction department.

Still a bit of water in the mixmaster
Bypass by riding up lean-to (40 ft?) and taking the connector.

Think CP will be dry on Saturday if the rain stops?

Saturday is going to be pushing it. Forecast calls for clouds Thursday and Friday.

With the amount of fallen leaves and rain, I doubt it will be dry enough until Sunday.

    Friday weather update

It is sunny today, but it was still drippy this morning. No rain yesterday.

Sunday is going to be my guess for decent riding conditions.

Still pretty wet and all the clouds aren't helping.

I only walked the trail from the road to the mix master and up lean-to.

May be Monday or Tuesday before I ride.

    Unhappy Raining again.

It was pretty slick last night. Rain can't be helping.

Any chance for a Thursday morning ride if it doesn't rain anymore?

Depends on how much rain we get today.

It was rideable Saturday morning. Three days after last rain.

Lite mist last night, but I don't think it got through the trees.

    Should be rideable tomorrow.

Thanks. I'm fighting a cold, so I'm gonna stay home and do work that needs to be done.

Trails were fine today. Same DGR's as always. Highlander had a few "mucky" spots..but overall OK.

The new "Rhino" has been cut...rode it today and it's lots of fun. Very beginner friendly for those that were concerned.

Enough with these beginner friendly trails. We need more double blacks.

I got a "Double Black" for you. Have you seen that drop off Highlander to MCC where MCC meets old Rhino?

And hey...at least the new "Rhino" is somewhat more "technical" than what was there before.
