Saturday, September 1st, 2012

**Each registered child receives a wrist band and bike number plate- just show up at each event and Event
Director will take down number- nothing to fill out.

**Adventure Race and Adult/ Junior Team Time Trial- 18 & over teammates are free- no registration necessary

Too Cool Racing Family Fun Adventure Race
Family Fun Adventure Race. FREE!! Teams of 2, 4 and 6- at least one minor per team. Must have a bike and
helmet for each team member and one compass per team. Disiplines; Foot, bike, boat (boats and PFD
provided) . Approx 1 hour race. Any age welcome!! 10:00 AM

Racers 18+

Unicycle Race

Cat 1, Cat 2/3 race

$100 cash awards

Cat 2/3 course- Kids Kup plus a little more (1 mile)

Cat 1 course- River Trail/ Bridge/ and some more (2+ miles)

First Time Racers Clinic
USA CYCLING, TMBRA, AND Alan & Kathy Johnson
1:00 pm at the Specialized Canopy with Richardson Bike Mart banners
Rules, race etiquette, registration, passing & being passed and much more
Even if youíre not racing, loads of great tips for mountain bike riding
All FREE!!

Festival Velopalooza
Huffy Toss, Huffy Ghost ride, Slow Race, Bicycle Limbo, and other things we may come up with
Saturday 2:00 pm. FREE event!!

The $100 Costume Crit
This is a short race around the Expo Area- 4 minutes plus the bell lap. All bikes are allowed. Costumes are
mandatory. $50 awarded to the first across the finish line. $50 awarded to the best costume (spectatorís
choice). Registration closes at 2:45 pm. The racers start at 3:00 PM- $5 entry fee

Adult/Junior Team Time Trial
Adult/Junior teams race against the clock over courses from 1.5 to 4 mile in length. Teams are made up of at
least one junior rider with a parent, older sibling or friend. Classes are determined by the age of the youngest
rider. Clock stops when both teammates cross the line- Donít drop your teammate!!

Classes: Boys & Girls 10 & under; Boys & Girls 14 & under; Boys & Girls 18 & under.
Registration closes at 3:30 PM. Race starts at 3:30 PM.- $5 entry fee

Texas Championship Super D presented by Flat Rock Ranch
This is a hybrid of downhill and cross-country with very little uphill. The course is devoid of jumps, is not
extremely technical and has a flat finish. It is a mixture of fast fire road, rocky jeep road and single track. The
course drops 350 feet in 2 miles. This is a mass start event per category- Each category starts every 5
minutes beginning at 5:00 pm - $10 entry fee

Categories: Open Men, 19-29 Men, 30-39 Men, 40+ Men, 18 & Under Men and Women, Open Women, 19-39
Women, 40+ Women

Iím Not A Racer XC RaceÖ.
ÖBut they drag me to these events every other weekend and there is finally an event for me!! For those that
want to ride with others in a low key environment and take home a ribbon, this is your event. Everyone is a
winner! Two distances offered, the 10 & under Team Time Trial course (1.5 miles) or the 10 & under XC
course (3 miles and a little more technical). 6:00 PM FREE event!!

Cross-Country Race
The Camp Eagle Classic is the opening race of the 2011 Richardson Bike Mart Texas Fall Cup Mountain Bike
Registrations close 30-minutes before each classís start
Entry fee- $30 before pre-reg date/ $35 race weekend
Junior 13-18- $15/ Junior 12 & under- $10

Collegiate Races- Saturday and Sunday
Cheer on your favorite school. Teams from Baylor, Texas A&M, UT and Texas State, and others made
appearances last year.
Collegiate racers have an option to compete in each individual event or all three as an omnium. The events
are the Short Track XC, the Super D, and the Cross Country event. The collegiate athletes will compete
during the festival events but have their own start times.

We would love to have you out for the weekend! It is an incredible family fun weekend for kids all ages! There are tons of things to participate in, even if you're not into mountain biking!
