A little less than 3 weeks from now, Austin-area roadies will be coming together for the 5th or 6th sort-of-annual Tour das Hugel. For those of you who've never heard of the Hugel, here's the scoop (excerpt from our web site):
Mark your calendars for November 11, 2006 Tour das Hugel 2006 is ON! For those of you who haven't ridden Hugel, expect to tackle all the hills Austin can throw at you over the course of the toughest 100 (and 2) miles in Texas.

And for those who have, we've added a few little nuggets to make this year's ride just a little bit tougher. ...cause it didn't hurt enough as it was. We're also quite excited to have an official sponsor this year - 360 Cycleworks! Drop by the shop and say hello when you get the chance!

Here are the stats:

Date: November 11, 2006
Start Time: 7:00am
Start location: 360 Cycleworks, 3801 N. Capitol of Texas Hwy. Ste G200
Distance: 102.4 miles
Total elevation gain: 14,514 feet
Total climbing (greater than 10% grade): ummm... it's a lot

We're looking forward to seeing everyone on the 11th!!!

Oh, and spread the word!!!

The ride is fully supported - multiple, stocked rest stops and a handful of SAG vehicles on course - and we'll have a post-ride get together at 360 Cycleworks, catered by Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. It'll be a hell of a day, well worth the easy drive down from Waco. For more information, check out our Yahoo! Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tourdashugel
