    12th street to Robinson

So Friday I got adventurous and decided to try out some new roads I've seen on google maps. I went out 12th street southeast toward Robinson. Once you've passed under the HW6 bybass which is under construction, the road turns into a nice rural country road with little traffic and some small hills. It's about 6 miles from LaSalle to Robinson, so it can make for a nice quick there and back, or you can connect to something longer like Moonlight and make an afternoon out of it.

Anyways, I'd never heard of anyone going this route before, so I thought I'd recommend it since I liked it.

Bui, we did about a 1/3 of it one time, tho we turned right too soon and had to cut our way through the town. If we would have continued straight it would have led us down the road I'm talking about. I put the route I did on routeslip.com - I think I called it Moonlight Robinson or something like that.

I tried this route a few days ago. Not a bad out and back. Any suggestions for turning this route into a loop? Would taking Old Temple/Bagby back to the city be a bad idea?

I tried that exact route - and while Old Temple isn't that bad cause it's wiiiiide and has a nice shoulder (not to mention crazy 40mph downhills), cutting through waco beyond valley mills was sketchy.

If you don't mind small shoulders and truckers on University Parks, you could go left at the Moonlight Dr/Hobbs fork, which takes you to FM 3400. A left here takes you to a merge with 434 and back to the Ferrell Center.

This one's a bit more complicated, but it's a loop. Cross over 77 on moonlight, take an almost immediate right onto Old Robinson road, continue until Tate then take a left. Follow Tate (turns into Hoffmeyer) to Greig, take a right on Greig. Take Greig back to Old Robinson Road, turn left and go right onto Tinsely. Tinsely comes out on 77 about 100 feet after Newland Dr, so go right onto 77 for a tiny bit and then left onto Newland. Newland takes you back to 12th street by the water facility. Right onto 12th. I did this once, and it was okay. Around 8am or 5 those roads get heavy with traffic from people returning to their homes. daytime and evening are alright, however.
