AUSTIN, Texas, May 25, 2004: Building on the runaway success of last
year's Women's Adventure Race in Austin, race promoter Jason Mittman has announced races this year in both Austin and Dallas.

The two Women's Adventure Races will offer fun, exciting,
beginner-friendly courses for competitors and a festival atmosphere for racers and spectators alike.

Fields of two-women teams will compete in trail running, hiking,
mountain biking, mystery events and a water section with a new twist
-- the women must create their own watercraft.

These exciting, fun-filled events benefit the Young Survival Coalition
( ), an organization that supports women
under 40 with breast cancer. Last year, the Women's Adventure Race donated 23% of the gross race proceeds (an unprecedented amount) to the Young Survival Coalition and plans to do the same this year.

More details will follow closer to the race dates.
