If you do call, please reserve a spot for TEAM ROOKIE. We may not be the "whippets of mojo", but we plan to have fun first and foremost.
If we have to front $$ to get a space, let me know and I will get you back even.![]()

Damn, Clydsedales or rookies- what a choice. If I can make it, I'd like to be included (I can always take off). I'm no Clydesdale, but I can huff and puff with the best of them...![]()
1) From looking at the alamanac information for January, the high should be around 60 and the low should be around 40 - shade will not be important. Get out those tights and long sleeve jerseys.
2) Only one site has electricity (it may already be reserved), and it's removed from the start/finish area
3) start/finish area is (was) the barn
4) The MoJo and STORM banners should be placed prominently
T - I won't be near a phone I can call long distance on 'til later this evening, see if we can get the spots along the finish line next to the barn, I believe Alan and others were in this area at the Warda spring mudfest - 5 spots (more?), they're not real big spots at Warda. I know the New Braunfels contigent should have 2-4 teams to help fill the area.
My fast ACTING overcompensates for my slow reality.
Since I don't plan to fish bass tournaments next year I'll be happy to assist with support for any B Mojo team needing help.
T almost had me raising my hand to fill a spot on a team, but in looking at the larger picture I'll pass on riding the event and offer support instead.![]()
Got Sporks???
Don't give me any crap on the trail! I can find my own, thank you.

I thought I might snag you Dan. You are like those damn largemouth bass. So fickle and hard to catch.
JTC, I left a message for Susan that we would have appx. 30 in the group and wanted to get the area near the barn. I will get up there on Friday and want a good spot. That is the main reason for acting fast. I don't want to be on the manure pile.
Looking forward to my first race-type event as a participant. Woohoo! This might mean I can throw away my Chukka boots and get some new riding shoes.
That is the area that we normally get at the races and it is called the "Picnic Area". Wish I could join everyone but, I'll be on a cruise in the Pacific. Let's see cruise...or 12 hour raceOriginally posted by T__

Geez Greg...What a Hardship!
Thanks for calling T
I'll be at Warda Friday too, see you there in 72 days!
Glad that everyone wants to get in on the good vibe that we had at the races in the fall series and at the 24.
First, I think JTC may have the two longest posts after this one is done!! Next race I am posting first!![]()
I am riding, along with a new fellow from NB who wants to ride and possibly Data and MC Falls as a four man team. If not we can do any combo. Still waiting on Falls, and Data for answers.
Death by Drop Zone!
To show you what a "stand-up" guy I am Greg, I will go on the cruise for you and miss my chance at all this fun. You might need to gain some weight to be on Team Dead Weight though.
I'll give you an address to mail the cruise passes to in a few days.
Jim Kutelski, maybe you can hook up with Scott's team b/c I am now a defector(?). You would have to eat a lot of brownies to train for the team I shall be on. Looks like 200+ and maybe 250+ all the way around. I like the idea of Half-Ton four man teams competing against each other for 12 hours. We'll all look like muddy Poppin Freshes when we're finished.

I'm an elitist capitalistic pig at heart, but the ridiculous expenses for these events -really- makes me appreciate the informal (read: free) 12 and 6 hour races that have been run at Comfort and Walnut Creek.
I understand that there are additional insurance and award costs, but the entry fees still seem high. The labor at these things are pretty much free as it's all volunteers. The land use fee is seperate. Nite Rider and other bike related companies typically have to -pay- the event organizer in order to put up their tents...
I'll probably still pay the fee - but damn it - I'm going to bitch about it. If you did both 12 hour races at Warda and the 6 and 24 hour race at Rocky Hill solo and didn't pre-register, you'd spend $400 on entry fees alone - and you wouldn't even get a friggin tshirt.
I am in for support. I don't plan to race.
Got wrench will travel. (I have a hammer as well)

If you pre-registered for the 24 @ RHR you got a shirt for each team member.![]()

Yeah...and if you volunteer, you get a shirt, coffee mug and all the food you want. And...you get to screw with all the riders in the wee hours of the morningOriginally posted by aLaN

If you preregistered for the 12 Hours of Dirt @ Warda in the Spring you got a shirt and Koobi socks!
Alan - happy you're in
Middy has yet to respond so that slot is open. I thought we were doing this as a two man team, but whatever works.
I used to think btw was one of the cloudcover gang. Always confusing when btw was mentioned while discussing an entirely different group of people.
George seems interested and since Dan only wants to do support it seems that it's going to be t,George you and I. I've got a four man tent is that too large for one of the spaces out there?
Now I've got to get my bike up to snuff again. Carlos can you order one of those Shimano sis 6 or 7 spd derailluers with a tab. I can put it on. Aso going to need a full set of cables and brake shoes.
I may need a new bb as well. I know you'll have to order the derailluer so go ahead if you can.
For some reason I have a feeling that you suffer from the "Charlie Brown Syndrome" Kyle.
"Hey Kyle what did you get at the race?"
"I got a rock."
OK Terry, I'll go for the rookies if Scott will let me on his team, I would have to eat a hell of a lot of brownies just to get to 200...![]()
