Makes you wonder where they get the merchandise huh??? It's my understanding that they sell it so cheap that's why they won't honor the warranty.
Thanks for the warning, who woulda thought?
Pricepoint gets stuff mostly from bike manufactures. Its usually over stock of OEM products. Thats how they get it and can sell it so cheap. All the stuff that I have bought from PP I dont expect a warranty to come with.
The pedals I got from them came in a plastic bag, not a box. :\
Figures. Buy local.
Yup...

I noticed that somethings are OEM, I bought the Avid Arch Rivals with SD7 levers for $80. Awesome set of brakes, and the color is not available anywhere but on OEM bikes. Kind of looks like XTR gray.
You almost said..

It must suck to be you.
my experience with Price Point has always been positive.
It must suck to be you.
as a mail order whore

most of the big three: price point / jenson usa / supergo have a lot of OEM stuff that they strip off of bikes that they didn't sell. notice that in the next few months their will be a big sale on frames from all three.
i've bought thousands of dollars worth of bike stuff from them and haven't had any problems yet *knocking on wood twice* and besides if you call in your order with jenson they will see that your a regular customer and "hook you up dawg" with prices and sh*t.
colorado cyclist and excelsports are to roadie and the selection sux more or less and they are priced way to high anyway.
cambria has everything under the sun as far as selection but their customer service area is lacking and the prices aren't that good to boot compared to price point / jenson / supergo.
just my 2cents worth on the subject of mail order stuff
Co-worker of mine just bought a full bling bling blur from Colorado Cyclist for under $4K. But then again he did go to the actual store. Specs, Fox F80, Float RL rear, king hubs laced to mavic 3.1's, king headset, carbon riser, thomson post and stem, XTR drivetrain, XTR disc brakes, XT shifters/levers.
Where's the Mojo?
