    6:00PM Wheels Down.
    BW on Broadway.
Olmos Trails for about an hour followed by riding in/around the greater downtown area with a stop/stops for food & cold beverages.
The various municipalities we travel through require head & tail lights after dark. I mention this as I've been pulled over before for not having them.

This Thursday, Ranger Creek is featuring a new beer @ The Cove. I'm unsure if they are giving away samples or selling them at a discounted price.
There is also a Beatles cover band playing there.

Could not have said it better myself. Be there or be square.

    Recap of Past Two Weeks

On June 23 and 30, 2016, I rode the Olmos Basin Trails with Toobin' then refreshed at Burleson Street Beer Garden with delicious food trucks. On June 30th, we bumped into Will R. and convinced him to join us on a ride through the hills and streets of SA. Both times we met up with friends for refreshments. Too bad they missed out on the ride portion of the evening.

July 28, 2016, Will R. and I inspected the trails after two big rains earlier in the week to see about the condition of the trails for the Saturday STORM Trail Workday planned. The trails were in great condition, but the road riders would not wait. Caught up to the group and others at Beethoven's, then Big Hops, The Mix, and Tito's for dinner.

After the STORM Trail Workday, last Saturday, I went back on Tuesday to clear overgrowth on three more Olmos Basin Trails with help from Will R. and Bob S. The trails are in great shape, and I am excited to ride Thursday at 6:00 pm leaving from BikeWorld on mountain bikes to check out the trails at speed. Will R., Bob S., and Toobin' Tobin are scheduled to ride. I think T5.6 is coming as well.

I will see about next week, but I may be packing for Tour de Gruene.

I rode Thursdays on August 18th and 25th and September 1st and 8th. I went to a Cavalier New Members Picnic on September 15th, but rode on the regular ride on September 22nd. On September 29th, there was a STORM Meeting with Councilman Mike Gallagher at McAllister Park to discuss Park Bond Issue with constructing more baseball fields - Capitol Park Little League. We rode trails before the meeting. On October 6th, there was a Town Club Skeet Shoot and the Witte Museum President's Dinner. I road with Toobin' on October 13th and 20th. On October 27th, I went to the Conopus Club Fall Party on Geneseo. On November 3rd, I was packing to go on the Tour de Gruene the next day. On November 10th, I went to the Friends of McAllister Park and made a presentation followed by Luminaria on the Hays St. Bridge.

Two and a half weeks ago, I was riding home when a car pulled out in front of me while I had the right of way. I evaded the car, but fell down in the process breaking four ribs and cutting my forehead. I have not ridden the bike again and am not planning on riding this Thursday. I will see what the doctor says and how I feel next week. Stay tuned for updates.

Hey Mojo's! Back in San Antonio now and getting things set up. Is this ride still active?

John and I ride the Olmos Basin trails departing from BW on Broadway at 6PM from time to time.

There is a group that departs for a street ride at 7PM. I don't recognize any of them but they all seem like nice folks.

Okay that's good to know. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, and keep the momentum.
