Weeg: most of the Mojos that ride it stop 1/2 way when we pass Blue Star and get a couple pitchers of their finest. It's the main reason I do this ride + I really like riding the downtown streets of S.A. at nite. Others continue on without stopping at Blu-Star, but it is a no-drop ride, so they stop quite frequently to wait for everyone + all the lights. After we've finished our pitchers of beer, we get on Broadway and hammer it back hard as we can with a full belly o beer to BikeWorld , then go to Beto's for fish tacos, empanadas and more beer till about 11:00pm. It's fun. Bring your mountain bike or hybrid though. Road bikes are not as cool.

Oh yea, bring a rear blinkie of some kind and most of us run lights and/or reflective stuff for safety. BikeWorld sells em for cheap if you don't have one.

Hey now, my road bike last week was the only way I could even try to stay in front of you and Keith to pull you through that head-wing!

BTW, my friend is definitely interested in the SARIS rack. If it hasn't been sold yet, can you bring it tonight? I am hoping to stop by this evening to give Judith my RAGBRAI registration papers and can broker a sale then.

George: definitely. Squasher said he wanted the adapter, but he hasn't called yet. If you can sell em both - you can have em. I'll bring them to the ride. I'm not sure what time I'll get there, but I'm sure I'll see you later if not earlier. You can send me the $ later if needed.

    Cool deal....

Actually, I can use them both. Though I just bought a Yakima bar for my C-dale Super-V, I am likely to transport a Raven too so could use another cheater bar. (Hell, I'll even let Alan have the red bungees too).

I don't want to undercut Squasher though so if he really needs it, I'm cool with that. Though if he only needs it mainly for the Comfort DH race, I got him covered and can bring them both out for that. (Though I am also planning to bring my 4X4 bronco with modified racks that could be used to shuttle 2 riders and bikes as well).

I'll be there in my carb depleted state. Hopefully I don't bonk like last week.

I wanna go to Blue Star, but one of you guys has to let me attach a bungee cord to you so I can get "pulled" along on that long ride down Broadway.

I thought about taking my road bike..............but then I would not get to ride the stairs at Trinity. That would suck.

    DAMMIT!!!

I'm sitting here at work waiting on a major (unexpected) document that I have to review before I can call it quits for the day. I'll do my best to be there for the ride, but if you don't see me then you know why.

Man, I'm glad I made it last night. The ride was a lot of fun and the beer/food stops were an added bonus. I clocked 12.83 miles on the route. Does that sound about right?

Count me in as a regular on future rides starting on April 18. Should be on the new bike by then.

Damn, Dan... sorry I missed ya... it is a fun ride for me and a definite "do not miss" event in my weekly calendar.

I still owe you and Dave F. a beer for Lajitas and will be sure to catch you on one of these rides soon.

I thought that it was 15-16, but that includes the lap around the alamodome and other screwing around that we missed while at Blue Star
