Getting spammed by Skater?

Skater is spamming me, anyone else?
I did not know we could spam fellow MoJo's email addresses with virus warnings.

Below is the original message that I sent. here is the update on it-----sender
only says "Microsoft" Subject says "Use this patch immediately". This virus
infects windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP.delete it do not open it.

There are more than just 1 person that this is addressed to. Some of you know
most of you don't. I no longer work at the jewelry store. I now work at
Computer Nerdz. (Please no nerd jokes.) We came across a new virus this
morning called W32.Swen.B. it is a very nasty virus that "hides" your system
from you and your windows operating system. When you open "My Computer" or
"Windows Explorer" you can see the files but you can't do anything w/ them. It
takes a computer tech about1 1/2 hours to find and clean the virus if he/she has
the proper tools, software, and skill/knowledge level. It comes in as an email
addressed FROM "Microsoft Crital Update" or "Microsoft Update Department". DO
NOT OPEN THIS EMAIL OR ITS ATTACHMENTS. All that you can do is delete it as
soon as you can or as soon as you click on it in you favorite email program (ie.
Outlook Express, Outlook, Netscape Messanger, Eudora). Additionally, some you
know that I don't send out "mass" emails or forwards that pertain to viruses or
any thing for that matter. As I come across them I will let you know about
them. Happy computing.."

yeah, definitely don't take it out on him, this thing is nasty, it gets into your HD, and shuts down anti-virus and firewall software first, leaving the rest of the hd at it's mercy. not pretty in the least.

Microsoft does not email 'patches'

They are available for download.

Spammers use the Microsoft name to make people open the attachment (read: virus)

Word to the wise, be very careful what you open in your email.
