I'll be working the grill, but it will be simple, hot dogs and burgers. And it will a propane desktop grill so as to keep it simple, quick and easy. Otherwise, we won't be eating until 10PM.

We will roll out of Blue Star by 7PM, earlier if everyone is ready sooner.

*OK, here's the real scoop. Two cases of New Belgium beer mysteriously found their way home with me from the Smurfboy 6 Hour race at Bar-H this weekend. Said vagabounds secretly stowed away in my previously empty ice chest and now seek new homes. Feel free to bring something to add to the grill.

this is in or around San Antonio (downtown)
yes -- it's ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests, but only if you're gonna give me money or a beer.

    Well done!

    CONSUMED
    1 bottle of mustard
    2 bags of potato chips
    16 hamburgers
    24 slices of american cheese
    24 bottles of water
    32 hot dogs
49 bottles of New Belgium beer
and some unknown non-meat thing for Mr. Z

    BIG THANKS
To Jason G for hanging back and working the grill.
    To Keith for the hotdogs
To Toobin and the good folks at the Smurfboy 6 Hour race for "burdening" me with their leftover beer, also for providing additional hotdogs.

HUGE THANKS to Todd at New Belgium Beer for setting us all up with the brew in the first place.

Finally thanks to all those who came out and helped me reclaim my ice chest by emptying it after lastnight's ride.

thanks again, george and jason. The beer was truly FREE and COLD.

Damn, I have to do that ride more. I felt it the next day. And it inspired me to go buy a road bike, or at least try. Nothing like road miles to get you in shape.

Jason, those were chicken-feta sausages. You owe it to your meat-eating-self to go to Central Market in AH and check out the many different types of sausages they have. High, quality, less fat than red meat, delicious. They even make a seafood sausage.

I'm 90% sure I'll be doing this from the Alamo Hgts. area. I did it Sunday and logged 38 miles. T.5 is a 90% certainty also.

Any other takers? We will leave/meet about 6:15 from Bike World.

I'm hoping to ride with you down to Blue Star. I don't know if I will go the entire route as I'm still checking with the family plans. Unless I call you, I will meet you at Bike World at 6:05-6:10 pm.

Raise your skill level to the level of the trail, donít bring the level of the trail down your riding level.

Don't mind me, I'm just along for the ride.
