awwwm shakeys, I miss that place. pizza inn? Kline's clothing store? my grand parents used to outfit me with kickin' plaid shorts, tube socks and leather chanclas from there.

-you used to think that Century South was the nice movie theater.

-you used to think that Lakeside was a really nice neighborhood. (for the east siders)

-you went to n***er willy's for a card reading.

-you went to papa jims for a vela and some blessed soap.

-you actually thought Church's (pronounced Church-ees) was good fried chicken.

-you attended "san pedro high" before moving on to a real college.

-what the hell was the Kon Tiki Hotel anyways?

The Park: San Pedro Park across from SAC. The springs are natural and are fed by the Edwards Aquifer. The park actually sits on a fault line.

What about ConeHeads on the corner of Mulberry. It used to be an old time gas station.
Do you want answers? I want the truth! You can't handle the truth!

...I'm not going to put you into a woodchipper. The rhetoric on this board is overblown. You're not a child killer or a mercenary.

Can we get past this please? I have never molested any child nor have you murdered one. I apologize for maligning your mother. Even though I cannot remember it, I apologize for it.

Almost, Jason. I thought the floating rocks were in the chinese garden at Brackenridge/Sunken Garden park.

You missed out if you haven't been there for late night drinks. Because apparently, it's being renovated... so it will likely lose the late 60's lounge look... which would be a shame.

    Note: I haven't been since the '90s.
