Sounds interesting. Are you going? Which bike?

I was the only Mojo there. Had about 10 riders on a variety of bikes. We did a route that went around Woodlawn Lake and ended up being about 12-15 miles. The final destination was La Tuna so that we could reload. I had a good time and will definately be on board for the next one

I had hoped to go but told them I couldn't make it this time since we were going to be in Corpus Christi for the Conquer the Coast. Last month, for their innaugural ride, they ended up at the Mission Drive In, where the four of them rode their bikes into the place (snuck in through the exit) and watched part of a movie. They said it was surreal because there were only like 12 cars in the entire place.

The two organizing dudes (Mark and Brad, or was it Bobby) were out at Beethoven's two weeks ago. They are relatively new to town, or at least had been away for some time and had no idea similar crews already exists: Mojo urban riders (First Friday and goof off rides) and the Alleycat racers. To be sure, there will be a lot of cross collaboration between everyone and there will probably be a big Halloween goof off ride at the end of the month.

    Check 'em out next time.

Definitely. I'll there with the cruiser and music trailer.

Any word if this was going to be a costume ride? I might have to cue up some halloween music if that's the case.

Had a good ride tonight with a group of about 18 riders. Mojo was well represented with Kenny, NRS, Jason G, Joe R and I in attendance. Couple of folks from Beethovens and the rest were new to me. Cool to ride with fresh faces.

This evening's destination was the haunted ghost tracks down off Villamain past Mission Espada. We used some of Mission Trail but mostly Presa and Mission Rd. (including my favorite parts along Stinson Airfield and the cemetaries). With it being halloween weekend, the tracks were very busy with cars lined all up and down the road and the smell of baby powder lingering in the air. The entire ride was quite a bit longer than I expected, the longest I've ever pulled the music trailer with the cruiser bike, so I was glad the pace was very relaxed.

Afterward, we adjourned to the Texas T (next to Paris Hatters on Broadway) for $8 pitchers of Heineken and what not.

All in all, a pretty good night. Now I gotta get some sleep for tomorrow's big adventure.

Friday of the Month Ride! See attachment for details. Expect a lot
of foot traffic as downtown will be lighting up.....the river. We
will be contributing blinking safety lights to the evening's
festivities, so don't forget yours. Bring your own booze as needed.
I can carry six beers but will need twelve - you do the math. If
your friends are bored, bring 'em - if they're boring, leave 'em and
join us! See ya at the Alamo!

No kidding, and with it all focussing on the tree lighting ceremony in Alamo Plaza, it won't just be heavy traffic, it will be a mad house.
