Flat Rock Ranch Volunteer Appreciation BBQ Oct. 28th 5:00 pm.

When Saturday October 28th 5:00 pm. This BBQ is for all trail volunteers, race volunteers, and everyone planning on volunteering next year. Also free for all STORM members. So donít put any money in the box if you qualify. If youíre not planning any of the volunteer stuff, get your STORM membership updated. This is in conjunction with STORMís Grillin' n Chillin' Ride at 9:00 am. We will have the main course, but if you want to bring something bring chips and dips or a desert.

Let me know if you plan to eat and camp so I can figure out the food and beer. Iíll get a KEG if the weather looks good and everyone plans to camp. If weather looks not so good Iíll get bottled beer. Hope to see everyone on the 28th.

I am totaly bumed We will be in New Mexico that weekend...
Can't we just let them crash into the creekbed?

All we need in the world are beautiful trails, sunny days and lot's of time to ride...

Jimmy, cancel the keg. I've got one of Shiner Bock left over from the Rackspace MS150 team that's sitting in a walk-in cooler that I'll take out there.

    Thanks

Jimmy, Thanks you for providing us with such a great trial. We wish I could make it.

    Thanks!

How are the conditions looking for the weekend?

We are wet now. Friday Afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday the trails will be dry, should be great.

The weather geeks are saying that all rain will stop tomorrow AM. Unless we get a turd floater tonight the trails should be perfect & the BBQ on Saturday(lunch & dinner) will be the same

Planning on heading out tomorrow night & staying Fri & Sat night if all goes as planned.

Not sure if they got anything out there last night, but the weather looks like it is going to be beautiful this weekend. I am looking forward to the riding out there.

Assuming that we have a fire, I have something, er. two things for it.

    Chillin' and Grillin' at Mac

A little help will be needed to get the fire to the proper temperature to burn them though...

Excellent, thanks Alan. I've already got the tent and stuff packed, but I think I will take you up on the offer. That leaves me with slightly more room to pack the kegs.

Jimmy, is the burn ban still in effect? I'll have two kegs of beer (a 3/4 full Shiner, the other about 1/3 full Dos Equis) so we should have more than enough for the weekend. We'll probably need to make an ice run later in the day on Saturday.

Gentlemen, I do not want to return these with anything in them. I trust you guys won't let me down.

I'll also have some hamburger patties that've been in my freezer since Mac C&G. I'll pick up the fixings and stuff for those. Aside from that, anything else we need to bring out?
    -George

We're riding tomorrow am around 10:00. Start on the lower - whoever wants to continue on to the upper can & the folks who would rather sip a frosty beverage can hang out with us while we grill

I talked to George & he's getting out there around noon tomorrow. We'll grill & chill for a bit & then chow down around 2:00 - 3:00. There will be some riding tomorrow afternoon as well.

Sunday morning will probably be a 10:00am ride as well. We'll need to sleep in a little
