Tri bikes are N-A-S-T-Y! The teardown and rebuilding of this neglected Cervelo revealed much ugliness. Removal of the fork was severely hampered by spacers that could only be removed by a Dremel grinder.
    Got Sporks???

Don't give me any crap on the trail! I can find my own, thank you.

Wurd...I work on lots of Tri Bikes out this way and yes, they are snasty!

Plus, bikes that get ridden on stationary trainers a lot are just as bad!

Often....I find myself asking myself what I have learned from the journey....We are lucky to be here, on this beautiful planet. We are lucky to have the short amount of time that we are granted. And we are lucky that our beautiful planet hasn't killed us (yet).

Today is a good day to ride.

A couple of days after snapping that pic, I got the story on it. It belonged to a wheel builder that lived in Florida. He built wheels from the 1920's - 1980's using that stand. 1000's and thousands of wheels were built with it.

It sits on top of a beverage refrigerator in a small eatery called Aemono. Directly next door to that eatery is the Telluride Brewery. All rides in that area have the potential of being routed so you ride by there. This give you an opportunity to stop in Aemono for a sandwich or wrap and wash it down with a beer from the brewery toward the end of your ride.
