The wife has granted me a birthday wish.... I could have requested steak and a bj, but I'm opting to hang out in the desert with a bunch of bike nerds instead ;o)

Bill, get ready. Prior to getting hitched, she did the MBW with me in Jim Thorpe, used to go to all the 12 hour deals, camping, canoeing, rock climbing, etc. etc. I even gave her a SC Superlight with full racer boi XTR kit. Now she's a mom and has 0 interest in any of the activities we used to do together.... but you'll find this out... in time Welcome to the club, ride while you can.... will you and the Mrs. be out there celebrating VD with the Mojo's?

Celebrating VD with the Mojos has some rude connotations. I assume you are referring to Valentine's Day and not the other VD.

    It won't. Or visa versa.

Brandon and I recently booked our room at the Motor Inn. We stayed there last year and it worked out well. We're looking forward to this weekend! I swore last year that I'd never climb that "mountain" again (I distinctly remember aLan telling me at the bottom not to think the climbing was over when I reached the "top")...but as the pain has faded, the desire to own that desert single track has returned .

It's always fun seeing all the Mojos! We'll see you all that Thursday.

    Just checked the registration link.

Is it seriously $90 and no T-shirt for this race? Just checking.......

    Thanks

Pam and I are thinking of going. Just to see that asshole Mr. Z.
Race NO! Ride Yes. Hopefully have my new bike built up by then. If not I have many in reserve.

If I could just keep from crashing.
