Charlie...what do you think about the color?
It’s impossible to rate welding/brazing quality by looking at a finished frame joint, even an unpainted one. Files, sandblasting, and a good paint job can take care of that. Such a joint will look stellar unpainted, but won’t last. Yet people all the time look at frames and say, “Nice welding/brazing…” The point isn’t to make you paranoid, just to stop saying things like, “That’s nice welding/brazing,” when you see a painted/unpainted frame. -- Grant Petersen

I'll get back to you tomorrow after I see it en persona. Anodized pink was my first choice but none in stock dammit.

The green King stuff is the obvious choice ~but~ maybe too obvious? And as usual I'm leaning towards blackout although green creamsicle(hehe) would be kinda cool too.

The warranty process was painless - kudos to Kevin @ Ellsworth.

You want to pick another color to compliment the green.

    Gold nipples?
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a mojo.

    & red?

The thing is that the frame is dark green with some black - lots darker than King green. I'll try to get some pic's up tomorrow.

None - I didn't ask many questions when he said no problem.

Thats a pretty cool color. I think it would look even cooler bombing down the Hermosa Creek trail this summer. Wish you were gonna make the trip with myself and the little people.

now that I've seen the frame in person I don't think gold

    silver, black, red perhaps...

I think the red ck would complement it nicely myself. Poor Charlie is now doing the "hard part"...picking those perfect components for his new baby.
so long, and thanks for all the fish.

Yeah, pewter or silver maybe. Too bad CK don't make white to match the Lettering. But then doesn't Charlie have blue King wheels? Or is it you? ANd he has another color?
