In for most all that. Especially the Getting Lost & getting back at sunset part. Prolly not in for hiking(bad knees) but will substitute for a 4x4 rally/dustfest thru Big Bend.

I propose a Terlingua roadtrip for Presidents Day weekend, February.

Attractions include, but not limited to:

    the Lajitas Trail System
    Big Bend Ranch S.P.
Getting Lost/Finding our way (my personal favorite)
    Visiting Gumby @ La Kiva
    Kathys Kosmic Kowgirl Cafe
    Chili Relleno at Tivo's
    The Starlight
    Hiking in Big Bend

    Trip will NOT include
A ride to the top of Tres Cuevas

    New Roll Call, who's in?

For tent campers... the answer is the Boathouse in the Terlingua Ghostown which has a newly opened campground area.

The campground is ready to go with showers, firerings and walled tents on platforms as well as pitch-your-own tent sites. Pitch-your-own sites are $13/tent for two campers, $3 for each additional person.
$13 per tent/night for up to 2 people.
    $15 per tent/night for 3 people.
    $18 per tent/night for 4 people.
The math is easy from here.

One item that Chad didn't mention was toilets. We've got a recon trip scheduled in November and we will scope the restroom scenario out.

Well where ever we go would be nice to get everybody together to camp. That's most of the fun anyway. I guess it depends on secluded the camp grounds are. Not that we stay up late or anything.

I hope the re con trip locates a place for Bikemojo to circle the wagons.

Is this open to runamuck photographers? Would love to join y'all and I promise to burn any photographic evidence that does not and will not exist should it accidentally get captured on a camera that will not be in my posession for the duration of any ruamuckedness.

The best thing about the race being cancelled is that Tobin, Jen, Cap and George get to hang out with us more. Plus they don't have to try and score the race hungover.

Lots of chatter on Team smack about coming to join Mojo in the desert.

I call bullshit! What happens in Terlingua gets posted on the internet!

And the only rules of the sweat lodge run something like:

    1. No guns
    2. No sleeping
and new for the 2010 trip:
    3. No refunds on the 9K admission fee.
