    Tnx

...and an excellent time was had by all. Amazingly, the transition from the singlespeed to the the Triple was brilliant!

...and the bicycling Godz have been appeased and no one got hurt.

    Good Times

'Twas a good time indeed & I enjoyed riding, meeting and/or hangin' with all involved.

And that was a tripel, Maxwell...

Devil's Backbone (spring release) draught only, bottles 2010
Named for the scenic ridge that runs between Blanco and Wimberley, Devil's Backbone is a Belgian-style tripel. Czech Saaz hops and Belgian yeast give this ale its distinctive flavor and aroma. Candy sugar made in-house at the brewery adds strength without increasing heaviness. The result is a deceptively strong, pale golden ale.
    ABV: 8.1%, IBU: 36, OG(plato): 18

    Mmm, mmm, good.

Yes, very fun. Big varied group for sure. The cx bike was fun. It took me a while to get more comfortable in the turns, but it motors in a straight line.

    Yup.

And like I often do, I get credit for something that someone else put together.

George did 90% of it. Next time he should ride.

With luck Karissa, Meghan and I will make this weekly ride.

Thanks everyone for coming out and making Chillin' and Grillin' Vol. 4 Issue 1 a big success. Special thanks to Alan and Judy for assisting with the actual execution of the Grillin' part allowing me to enjoy some of the Chillin'

Perhaps, but the 10% you did allowed me to enjoy 100% of the evening. And no worries, I did manage to get a solo night ride in when it was all said and done. Kind of eery to have the park so quiet and practically all to myself. Together with the fear that if something went wrong, I would be found until morning at best, made for a very contemplative albeit deliberate ride.

I couldn't help but wonder how guys like Tony go off on those solo epic adventures without much contingency back up. Amazing. (I know, I know- I was only at Mac). I even thought of Dave Boyd and Anthony Sloan and was reminded of a quote from Shawshank Redemption, "get busy living or get busy dying."

The icing on the cake was to read Charles' post this morning announcing Anthony's Anniversary Memorial ride. Karmic, indeed.

Volume 4 Issue 2 next week, April 13, same place and time!

    Not actually Tuesday

Not actually from tuesday (but the same trail). Not a very good camera (but it works well enough). Not very coherent monologue (but it's Blammo, right?)

We'll be there, weather permitting. If that's the case, then we won't.

Why don't you drive the kid over to the wife's workplace, hand the kid off to the wife, then you will be in the neighborhood for the ride?

Raise your skill level to the level of the trail, donít bring the level of the trail down to your riding level.

Don't mind me, I'm just along for the ride.

    Planning to be in.

WX channel says 30% chance of rain, so hopefully we'll be fine. If not, I say we show up and grill anyway. The pavillion is covered.
