someone said we did about 12 or 13 miles. had never done night train, was awesome. mostly very doable, techy singletrack with the occasional steep wall or drop. even reminded me of cheesegrater in some parts. burger at Big'z afterward hit the spot.

still don't know where the hell I'm going...

Yes, very good for my first time at Salado. I showed 13.05 on the wheel computer (low 12 GPS).

    Good burger as well.

Thanks for the N-Gear Ed, already installed, should alleviate any question mark. We'll make it straight at some point.

Great ride today. Night train is my type of trail. I will definately be adding that to my weekly rides.

It was better to fix a broken pipe which flooded my yard than to ride....hypothetically speaking.

great ride! sorry I had to ditch, promised the kid we would play wii all day before his first day of school

there is another section that you can get to after going under Blanco, takes you into Walker Ranch park, the north side of the park has a few dirt trails and a dam ride that overlooks Silverhorn golf course.

Radio Flyer is another must do trail on the way back, it one of 3 (in some spots 3+) paths that all run north / south

If you wanna get in miles you can ride the creekbed north of 1604 till you get to some jeep roads. there were a few ATV trails back in this area, not sure if there is any single track but it is still a decent ride.

Just got back from home (Big Bend area). It's good to be back.

Been riding Salado creek since Monday since I live right next door.

Maybe I'll run into some of you in this board.

Yeah, it would be a bummer to go all the way to Austin and have a mechanical the first 45minutes of the ride!!

I heard 2 votes for salado. 1 for madrone and 1 for Austin last night. If and when we do go to Austin I'm staying away from the navy tacos! The better question is how does bugger know about the navy tacos!?
    Huh?

I have heard him jamming to the Village People. I assume he's a big fan of seamen.

I should be IN for Salado or somewhere in town. Haven't rode with any mojos in a long time.
