    I plan to either go down early or stay a few days later like I did last year. During the days that the festival is on. I will prolly just stay in the campground or camp very nearby.

    By campground, I hope you mean Boathouse, Blammo. We wouldn't want to break with tradition now, would we? I didn't mind the 15 min. drive to & from Lajitas last time out, & I appreciate the rustic charm of Terlingua.

    We need to figure out what we're gonna do as far as a bikepacking overnighter. I'm down for (attempting) the epic, so maybe we travel Sunday like we did last year & figure out a route from within the Ranch to Fresno Canyon where we can play & camp Mon., then ride back to base on Tues.

    It says on the website that the open mic at La Kiva is Wednesdays. People gonna be there on that Wed?

    From Austin or SA, it's 7-8 hrs drive out there.
    I like to leave Wed. @ 5AM, arrive around noon and then ride from 1-4PM.
    Then head over to LaKiva in the evening for OpenMic night. Many others follow that routine as well.
    We'll be lucky if Pablo Manudo is in the Open Mic lineup for this one. He didn't play last year, but did play the year prior.
    He has a new album out, I plan on picking it up the next time I'm out there.

    Pablo has been coming to play in New Braunfels from time to time... but I keep missing it.

    I plan to reserve a spot at the Lajitas RV Resort again this year and will arrive on Wednesday, staying through Monday or Tuesday.

    Inspired by Pablo's eggnog making extravaganzza, I tried his recipe out last night and it's fantastic.
