Oh it hurts so good. Just rolled into the house at 11:35. Left Desert Sport at 4:45. 30 minutes in Alpine to replace a headlight bulb. 10 minutes in Kerrville letting a tailgater (most of the 131 miles from Ozona) get ahead. My bed looks so inviting.

Thanks for the trip Alan and Tobin.

Good things in life eventually come to an end.
The Kosmic Kowgirl's Breakfast & campfire time memories are all really good ones and I'm glad I have them.
Kathy is now tending to the bar at The Starlight, which means we still get to see her. Most importantly, she is very happy.

Here are what some of our other two-wheeled friends had to say about Kosmic Kathy the Kowgirl:

Ghostown cafe has a good breakfast burrito.
Espresso ...y poco mas at La Posada Milagro in the Ghostown has a fantastic breakfast burrito and the best coffee I've had in the area.

Well since MOOTS has screwed up i've had to procure alternative modes of transportation for our desert recon mission in 29 days.

Pablo, Jim & Neil kept referencing "Scrapple" during their show @ LaKiva. I had no idea what that was so I found out.

My wife grew up in rural Pennsylvania and has told about scrapple being a Pennsylvania Dutch breakfast dish. It sounds kind of like fried spam slices. With the right seasoning, it could be good.
Raise your skill level to the level of the trail, donít bring the level of the trail down to your riding level.

Don't mind me, I'm just along for the ride.

I've eaten scrapple many times but under a different name of ponhaus. A former SA co-worker of hill country German heritage made it every deer season from a handed down recipe incorporating venison odds and ends. After all the usable meat was removed from the carcass, resembling scraped down bones you might give to a junkyard dog, he would boil the bones which would free up the marrow, soft cartilage, and small amounts of meat. Steps involving stock reduction, bone removal, addition of cornmeal and spices, and refrigerating in shaped containers were then performed. When cold he would slice the firm, congealed mixture and quickly fry up in a skillet. Not like spam at all,,, spam is way too meaty. The texture is interesting and the flavor ain't half bad. You just have to eat it with an open mind and disregard what it really is.
    Got Sporks???

Don't give me any crap on the trail! I can find my own, thank you.
