Some would say it is too sterile as opposed to the Boathouse in Terlingua, but the amenities are nicer. Also, those with RV's will be more inclined to come to Lajitas if they can be part of the group. One of my objectives is to have us be more inclusive.

You can drive to the rides, or drive to the restaurants, but either way you will drive! Those of you who have decided to hotel it, STFU. If the consensus is another campsite I will certainly change. So, those who are camping...what say ye?
Thinking back to past trips out there ...the best times are when we get all the mojo's together regardless of where that is. I like to sleep outside and plan to do that I don't really care where. I'm really not that keen on "camping" in the driveway of condo, so that's probably not going to happen for me.

Last year, I camped in a different spot every single night:
    Sunday : Boathouse
    Monday : Elephant Tusk
    Tuesday : Ocotillo Grove
    Wednesday : Dagger Flats
    Thursday : Boathouse
Friday : Maverick RV spot 1
Saturday : Maverick Rv spot 2

Amen. Las Ruinas at the Boathouse continues hold a special charm for me. I'd like to stay there again, but I'm flexible to meet whatever plans your concocting, Blammo. Been looking at looking at 2/13 - 2/20. Let's get together to hatch more plans over some beers soon.

I'm thinking about camping. Or bringing the bus. Depends on how much time I have, it's a slow drive in the bus.
Outer space is just 62 miles away.

Nada recently, but all was progressing well when last we spoke, which means he'll be homebound through the first several months of the year.

    And Sugar.

I'm leaning towards camping. It's been a couple of years since I've camped out there. I'm getting soft. Plus I want to be where Z is.

It was me and it was sweet. I even put a blanket between the two tents.

Blammo, I don't think I will do the sweat lodge until we get a big crowd camping.
