    Chilli;
    Bring some cornbread.....

    I'm going to Boquillas Thursday while folks are riding Old Ore Rd. I will meet up with the group at the Hot Springs.

    Camping on River Rd. There are several campgrounds. You have your trailer?

    I'm making chili, I can't decide between vegetarian chili and a recipe I just found for chicken mole chili. Yes, bring cornbread and fritos.
    It's time to start planning.

    The Old Ore Rd. ride ends at Rio Grande Village this year, not the Hot Springs. I guessing it is to encourage a river crossing to Boquillas?

    Can anyone confirm that Boquillas is worth visiting? I was there before 911 and, frankly, I can't get excited about going back. I'm pretty sure they no longer have electricity because their power came from the Texas side of the border --those copper scorpions you bought down by the hot springs were made out of the old powerlines. So, no cold beer or food ...just a few kids trying to sell you white rocks --literally --white rocks.

    ...but don't let that stop you. I guess you can check it off the list.

    Did not realize this... Not sure how I feel about it. I'll be sure to bring the passport though!

    I'd bet some folks will be ending their Thurs. rides at Langford Hot Springs. It's an awesome tradition.
