I'm going to Boquillas Thursday while folks are riding Old Ore Rd. I will meet up with the group at the Hot Springs.

Camping on River Rd. There are several campgrounds. You have your trailer?

I may be able to do cornbread. Which day is the actual cook off?

I am bringing the trailer, but not for the River Rd part. I will be bringing my tent for that part. I also saw several 4x4ing portions (vs the high clearance parts) & I wanted to pick talks brains about that. I will be there Wednesday so we can chat about that in person if there are too many options to write about.

If it has tires or testicles it's gonna give you trouble. Good thing I like trouble!

Woo Hoo! I am going to try for a mid-afternoon arrival on Wednesday. Drop the trailer on my friends land where we'll be staying & head to the Lajitas Trail head. What time are yall looking on starting the ride on Wednesday roughly?

My hazy memory of last year was that we parked at the trailhead at the airport which avoided the western portion of the road/trail. The estimate of 2:30 pm sounds about right. I don't care where we start. One group could start at the RV park at 2:30 pm and the other group meet at the airport popup station at 2:50 pm. It seems we rode about 10 miles at an easy pace. I look to one of leaders to coordinate the group. I'm just following along. I'm looking forward to seeing you, Dwayne, and the others from Austin.
Raise your skill level to the level of the trail, donít bring the level of the trail down to your riding level.

Don't mind me, I'm just along for the ride.

It'll be good to catch up with you and many others. It'll also be good to be riding desert trails on my new steed.

I think it is good to set goals, but as mentioned with Bill, setting lower goals is good for the self esteem. Two pm to four pm works for me.

Aiming is good. Do you have cross hairs on the windshield?

It looks like this year we are going to skip the part of the planning phase where we all at least pretend to want to recreate the glory days of doing this as one big group and just openly succumb to the selfish needs of own little vajayjays.
