my rides today--ya'all still racin' waco 2morrow?

I managed 55 miles averaging 16.2 MPH down in La Grange--not too abd I guess since the road bike hasn't been outside since the Lance Armstrong Foundation ride last fall.

Then I hit up Bluff Creek Ranch in Warda for a 7 mile loop. Let me tell ya my legs were feeling like lead--but twas still fun. Then I had Damon Nolan (guy who run's the ranch) grill me up a tasty long horn burger and some tots.

So ya'all racin 2morrow? What cat--beginner? Start time 1 PM?

Looks like you had a good day of riding... I'm jealous. Last time I was at Warda was back around 2004 and I think there was more mileage than now. It was a good time, that's for sure.

Not racing tomorrow... never really had the ok to go and decided (or my wife did) that with a 4 wk old baby in the house it's in my best interest to stick around since I've been traveling some for work lately. In return for not riding Waco, I've made demands to race at Reimers in April as proper compensation...

I'll be out there tomorrow racing the beginner category. The race starts at 1:30. I don't expect great things of myself tomorrow, but it will be fun. Who knows, maybe I'll win something cool in the raffle.

very cool, was a beautiful day to ride La Grange, from the pic looks like there may have been some kind of rally or something?

aaron-take charge-haha--no really I hope it works out you do Reimer's--it's a fun place.

chris--good luck today--I was gunna come watch but it's 1130 already and I'm just stirring about.

bikerchic-yes, it was just one of those seemingly weekly organized road rides to benefit something or another that Texas has from Spring til mid-fall. It was cycle lagrange's ride benefitting habitat for humanity. i think there were 280 riders registered and they had a band, barbeque, and a mini old car and old motorcycle show too.

I surprised myself a little bit. I'm a relatively good climber, so the course works well for me.
