May see you out there sometime. I'll be riding a dark grey tallboy lt.
Been riding Dana Peak for a couple years and sure could use some company every once in a while.
You should check our meetup: Bell County Outdoor Adventure (Belton, TX) - Meetup
We schedule everything there. Beginner rides, Intermediate, Trail advocacy meetings, notices, races. I'm sure you'll find something. We also let members schedule their own events, as long as you've been to at least one hosted event and the event you're hosting fits the group's scope.
We also meet up for kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, trail running, anything off-road and human powered.
And as far as what I consider new trails, we (on this thread) are probably thinking of anything after 2010...
We have maps available they look awesome but we cant go further with the maps until we have permanent trail markings. You can pick them up at Tri City Bicycles in Belton they are pretty large and the black and whites are 15.00 and color are 35.00 I apologize they cost so much but that is enough to print and laminate each map, there is a little mark up in them so I can recoup the money I put into them so my wife continues to love me and we can keep printing more. I have one digital copy but it is impossible to read the file is enormous.
So what is your opinion on bikemojo vs. Fb regarding forums. I don't think I'll have much backing on my side but mojo feels more like a forum than fb.
