Thread: BCBC exists ? anyone ?

Does the BCBC exist anymore ? Or was it completely absorbed by the Scott and White Club ? Anyone know ? I have been thinking about those Sunday expo center to salado and back rides...miss doing those. Used to be on an email list...maybe I missed an email sent out asking whether want to remain on list. Lots of groups do that...

The BCBC no longer exists as a club per-se. What there is, is a few riders who claim the name, but it was never, as far as I know, absorbed into the S&W club. As far as I know, the S&W club is moribund.

If you are interested in restarting the Sunday Expo Center rides, then let me know so that we can try and do so. They ceased to continue due to lack of participation and complaints that it was either too cold or too hot.

I've been off the mtb since breaking the wrist superbowl Sunday but the doc has cleared me to road ride. Did a 21 miler on post Friday, got extremely bored yesterday, and so today went and did the Expo rte with Sally following in the Subaru.

The gas station at the half way point is shuttered but I guess there would be other options.

Did not realize the S&W club has slowed down as well. Actually so has Team Army somewhat anyway. It seems like Roadkill organized most rides which is fine.

So I'm in Chicago tomorrow through Thursday but plan on doing the LBJ ride this Saturday and the Smokin Spokes the next (as long as my wrist continues to hold up ok). Maybe will see you at one or both of those.
