Reimer's Ranch 9am, August 2nd.
I got a call from Mark H last night to tell me the swimming is good. I'm going to plan and bring something for lunch, drinks, and stay for a while after the ride.

Just got back from there and the trail is in great shape for this weekend. Hard packed and very easy to follow...have fun.

what's the trail like? my bike's in the shop for a tune-up and it may not be back by Saturday. I'd be out there on my rigid SS. will I be killing myself?

I would start with the Green loop. If you take the OUT option at mile 4 of the Green will give you a nice 6.5 mile loop. Green with out the OUT option and you end up at 9 miles. You just need to get the first 3 miles on the Green loop and you will be home free.

I know how to get to Reimer's Ranch (Hamilton Pool Road before Hamilton Pool), but I don't know how obvious the trailhead and meeting place are. Could someone fill me in?
I'm also wondering if my husband and child (2 years old, loves to swim) could easily entertain themselves while I ride.
Thanks, Robin

the trail head is near the parking area for climbing. i've heard that there is/will be a seperate parking area for bikers.
We will likely ride until 11:30 or 12.
