View Full Version : Spox woes
I took the cassette off of my Spinergy wheels to touch it. And to clean it, but it is cool to touch it..
Anyway when I am putting it back on, I tighten the lock ring on the cassette. You know give it a good torque....
And what happens the freewheel locks up.
Now what?
I take the cassette off and the freewheel spins...
I think that RockShox is in cahoots with Spinergy.....

touching things, especially dead bodies, is kinda cool....this....this is weird.
it could be the lock ring bottoming out against the axle. if there is enough play in the freehub body this can happen sometimes.
check to see if ther cassette is not locked up against the spokes or any other part of the wheel.
also, does the axle spin when the casette is on?

well, it seems as though the lock ring is bottiming out on the inside of the freehub body or the axle.
solution: a 1mm freehub spacer. BAM!
