Another grassroots event. So far there have been Time trials at City Park and Muleshoe Bend; both races had a great turnout.

hmmmm....I think my mtb is getting jealous of my road bike. Hopefully i can do it. How did you do in the others?

I finished 9th at CP with a lap time of 35:27. there were some heavy hitters out there. The guy that won did it in 31:51! :eek: Because he wen't out there with the intent of setting the fastest time, he didn't take the time out to actually ride the hard sections! He just jumped off and ran over the hard stuff. Not as impressive, in my opinion; but still super-human.

I wasn't able to make it to the Muleshoe TT; it was that weekend I had to see my granny.

My only goal will be not to get lost, as I always seem to do outthere. How do they organize the TT?

Just sign up before 9:00. They will arrange start times in the order of how fast you think you can do 1 lap. This is to avoid tons of traffic for the faster guys. Riders will take off in 1 minute intervals. That's pretty much it, just a race against the clock, - and anyone you might have talked smack to :D There will likely be a raffle at the end.

:rolleyes: Yes, shabby. I had a rough week studying for finals/little sleep. I only beat two out of three guys I was supposed to. The guy that beat me had only beat me once before, when i had gotten a flat at cameron park. He beat me by 1:09 on Sat!:eek:

I guess I'll start riding on the road (I haven't since July 1!)
