So, I finally registered and know my class schedule for the fall.

Mon. Free after 2:00
Tues. Free after 5:00
Wed. Free after 8:50....PM!
Thurs Free after 10:00 am Going to ty and do work until 2:00, though)
Fri. free after 2:00

I was thinking that we could start attempting to organize a couple weekly rides so that people can try to catch at least one a week. Meeting up with the NB guys seems like a good option for those who live in SM. I've only ridden w/ them once before, and it was a pretty fast ride. I think we should have a much slower ride going on as to be a bit more social, and friendly to the newbees. Kind of like a clinic ride. I guess this is a good topic to address during the meeting.

So, when are we going to hold our weekly meetings? In the past, we have had them at 6:00 on mondays (a time I wasn't too fond of). What's the dilio on the new time? Should we reach a concensus? Or just make sure it fits into MY schedule! :D :D J/K.

Also, If anyone from Austin will be going to school at 8:00 (I go in at 8:00 Mon.-Thurs), we could possibly carpool 3 time a week.

Here is a little brainstorming of possible rides. We can always do our own group rides, but I thought this would be good for the beginning of the sem. Until we get our team more established and schedules figured out.

hmmm... I think Monday 6:00 meeting sux!

Tues &/or Thurs rides are workable for me.

I vote for crits right after Meetings, whenever they may be. ooh, I'm excited now! That would also be a good opportunity for newbees to get a feel for riding w/others and getting help/tips with their bikes. I have some slick MTB tires to lend for someone that doesn't have a road bike and doesn't want to run knobbies.
