Hope to get my new road bike this thursday and want to go ride Saturday am. Would like to try and head out around 8am or so.
Dan, George, JimK, Jeff, etc......takers?
Scott...don't forget about the workday at Jimmy's on Saturday:p

I know and am pretty bummed I won't make it. Fam leaves early sunday am for Disney and wife will give me 2 hour slots to get out and that is it!
My scheduling is not coordinating with Jimmy's very well this week. Want to get out ASAP
Would love to make a break in ride with you, but I'll be at Flat Rock, too, for a morning of trailwork, then I have to hustle back to town to spend the rest of the weekend with my dad before the LAJITAS!!! adventure commences the following week. :D

You all name the place -- I am still learning different road routes. Would like to convene around 8 and maybe do 40 or 50 mi? I am flexible on location, but combo of cruise and hills is great with me.
Lemme know.

Hmmm, I need to figure out what I can do tomorrow. Yesterday was my mom's birthday and today is my dad's. I think the family has been planning a BBQ for them set for tomorrow afternoon.
If I can swing it, I was hoping to do the workday out at Jimmy's in Comfort. But then I don't think I can be back in time to help out with the BBQ. Therefore, a 2-3 hour morning road ride looks very possible. However, if it's going to be a 50-60 miler, I don't know that I can push that kind of pace and not be totally wiped out in the afternoon for the BBQ. I am thinking a 40 miler would be ideal for me. Is that too weak for y'all?

I don't think we'll have time ourselves for that many miles since StormKidz is at 1PM. We'll play it by ear but more in the likelyhood of 30-40 miles will be the distance.

Got a Legend. Ti frame from a small custom shop near Dallas. Really like it and now that I am back from 2 weeks vacation am ready to put in some miles before the 150 and ride for the roses.....
