what's up with the construction out by 5 mile on stagecoach and on post. is anyone still riding (road) out there? is anyone road riding anywhere around San Marcos?

Don't know when Post & 5-Mile will be accessible again. BUT - looks as if we may be getting some smooth black asphalt along the frontage roads. Also, today they were repaving Yarrington Rd. (east) with asphalt. For now, I'm stuck on east side of 35 - so, i've been crawling around east side of Kyle/Buda and over towards Lockhart. I keep eyeballing all the new subdivisions along 150 and the fun mazes of streets laid out. But the houses are up, sold, and lived in before I get around to busting out a solo crit. on the new smooth asphalt.

There are many roads to ride on out here. I prefer the roads south and east of the outlet mall. I took some maps of the routes I usually ride into Pedal Power the other day, so go grab one of those and you'll be set.

I drive to the outlet mall and ride from the back parking lot on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:45PM. I usually do about 40 miles around 19-20 mph pace. You can join me, also, if you'd like on Thursday. I ride from downtown San Marcos on Saturdays and Sundays.

i can't wait for post road to be done..i am riding the frontage roads now..i hate the frontage roads...gas fumes and angry drivers..
