The first meeting will take place in LBJSC 3-4.1 @ 6pm on Monday 9/8. I wanted to keep this time, b/c i fgured a lot of people had planned on itmstaying the same. One problem...the room is freakin tiny. Does anyone know of any alternative locations we can do it in San Marcos? However, the first meeting will go on in 3-4.1

Is that the small room we have had meetings in before?
Worse-comes to worse, we can just meet in the Student Canter's downstairs food court area, inside or out. As long as it's a place people can find, I don't think the location really matters. On campus is preferable, of course.

we can meet in the lounge of the science building, but there is no guarantee that other people wont be around. In fact, chances are there will be a a few people in the lounge at any given time. I have a key to the building so we can go anytime. It is an option.

Could you get us a classroom? Teaching Theatre would be cool, access to the net and stuff

If it's going to be in some public place, I'd rather it not be somewhere poeople may expect some level of noise curtesy. We don't need to be making people mad.

The Pedal Power estate is available for private parties. We close at 6 so you can have your privacy. I'm usually there till at least seven, so it's no trouble at all, in fact, it would be kind of nice to have some racer types in the store after hours, we could make s'mores!

We don't have to worry about the fact that there aren't any chairs; we could all sit on bikes!

Since the new jerseys will be discussed, here is the link to our new logo http://www.athletics.swt.edu/Athletic%20Bobcat%20Logo/txstate-bobcatlogo.jpg I think it will look bada$$ on the new jerseys, especially if we have a good jersey design. I have a few cool ideas. Peace, J o e y :-)

Hey Texas State folks,
Are you still considering ordering extra jerseys to sell to us old folks, or is the issue put on hold?
below is the original thread...

Banker,
You are just the man for these questions. Yes, I like that idea of selling jerseys. At UT, we did that and off the website too. My questions are 1.) Would we best sell the regular jerseys 2.) or also make a jersey for fun for members/alumni/bobcat fans that is almost an exact replica of the TdF yellow jersey, but with "Credit Bobcat" in place of Credit Layonais in the right places and maroon instead of blue for the lines and type? We could even have a logo on the front instead of USPS like when lance wins and have the Texas State and the Bobcat logo there instead. I think it would be really cool and make us unique. Let me know what you think.

The second option sounds really neat, but my advice would be to not make two different jerseys. That's too complicated and costly. I'd say shirt quality is more important than design. I've seen many different SWT jerseys over the years, and all have been great in their own way.

all of the jerseys ordered are going to have to be individually paid for. We cant pay for the jerseys out of our team account b/c there is not enough there. Pretty much if you want one, you will have to order it with us in a few weeks. Unless of course someone out there wants to order a bunch and sell them to make a little cash.

As far as results for the team, there is an old resuts section on the SCCCC website for conference stuff, as far as nationals I'm sure those results are listed somewhere, but I couldn't tell ya. I know for the first 7 years ish of conference mtb we held the title every year and we were pretty hot on the track aroun 94-96. I think we may have won cross in that timeframe as well. I know Caset Crosby got a couple top ten placing at natz, but I couldn't tell you when or what.
