We don't make anyone ride anything. Some folks are ready to *see* City Park and maybe try some stuff. We include this ride by request because we learned that lots of women will not go there on their own but will with this group.

The advanced riders and some intermediate riders will do the loop. The novice and beginner riders will do skills in the parking area and the warm up loop and then we may venture out to a very short section to observe to more advanced riders on the loop.


Ride Like a Girl Trivia -

The first year we put City Park on the RLAG schedule, a prominant bike shop owner and long time RLAG supporter told me

"Debbie, you are fool to take beginner riders there."

Nonsense.....I went with RLAG there as a beginner and now I ride there twice a week. Granted, I cursed the whole time I rode with RLAG 2 years ago but realized if I wanted be fearless this was the place to get over it.

City Park road, go about 4-ish miles, left on Oak Shores (motorcyle park), go another couple miles, turn left at the entrance (not marked until you make the turn). But it's a newly paved (black-top road) with white rocks lining the drive. You can't miss it.

missed ya, we haf 3 extreemly novice riders, and mostly beginner's otherwise. only 4 went out on the real loop.
