any of you guys know (for sure) if anyone here in town carries 2.3 or 2.4 tires? i.e. - Mutano or Moto Raptors?

yeah, that would be possible if we still had a phone book at my apt...however, it's been missing for a while now.

i just picked up the only 2.4 (MotoRaptor) Cycle360 had, and that was $44, so i'm gonna see how i like this on front, then decide what i want to do in the rear.

I carry some...
I plan to do more catering to the growing "freeride" crowd as no one else really is..

I have Mutano Raptor 2.4s and Nokian Gazzolidi Core 2.3s
etc..

oh dangit...i was hoping to find one of those Nokians earlier. hmmm...how do they handle in the rear? i put a 2.0 Geax Beaumont on yesterday and love this tire, but i'd still be willing to try a Nokian. how much are they and where are you located?

I just ordered some more "big tires" today
should be here on Thursday

Tioga DH 2.3s
Tioga Factory Extreme XC (BIG 2.1, a good 1/4" wider than most 2.1s)

haha...well, maybe in the future when i have some spare money (ha, like that's gonna happen anytime soon), i might see him about getting an IndiFab SS built up (or possibly something with an E-bb??), but for now i'm limited to tires, unfortunately.

i must say, though, he carries some great stuff that i haven't seen too much around here, and has put out some nice looking rides.

I run WTB Motoraptor 2.4 on my bike F/R. The reason I ride em is because I like the "cushion" they give when you ride over rocks or roots. The only thing I don't like about them is that they don't shed tacky dirt real easy.

I think I'm the only guy in my club that rides such a big tire.

that .5" 'shock' is so nice when you ride a rigid fork.
