Are the BMX guys doing this, as soon as you hit the jump you lay it flat , and it makes the bike fly super low and you land sooner, seems it would work with BMX racing too.

i'm pretty sure he's just laying a flatty on a step-up from a turn. i've seen this kind of jump before. it looks really tough to pull off. not sure if bmxers are going fast enough to do this one.

not really the same for bmx.... guys do pull whips...not as big as bubba or RC, but they pull them... the way we jump fast is pumping.... racer style it kinda looks like a manual...but in the air... youre skimming over the jump almost touching like you would manualing it, but youre not...

i pump jst about everything... cant help it a lot of the time...

thats pretty much the fastest for us...you couldnt do it on a dirtbike because of the weight so whipping keeps the bike low and fast

maybe some of the Downhill bmx guys will be starting to do it soon, the ones that are part of the extream games , there going 40 plus mph maybe even 50mph.

a step jump is before that, to get it that flat you need a bit of a turning jump, there laying it almost as flat on strait jumps now too, the top pro's are doing it more and more, on strait jumps there laying it flat before there wheels have left the ground, needs a little whip at the very end to pull it back.

whats so cool is how close they come to crashing being layed over with the wheel side ways, there are a few photo's out there where there even closer to the ground flying over the top of the jump.

Fox is coming out with a ad of that has a clean shot of doing that, still being debated on what to call it even.

ive seen it done plenty in MX, but like i said, in bmx, the bike is so light that its just different... those MX guys are battling the momentum of those heavy bikes...bmx, even DH bmx guys, can just pump or suck up the jumps easier
