finally giving james his wheels back... he's putting on XTdisc hub wheels on singletrack rims (same ones you can get off jensonusa) with bolt axles instead of quick release...


probably throwing on the 6 cogs off a 105 cassette and short 105 rear der too...not sure...

AND...im gonna run my larsen TT 2.35s till the holy rollers are out...

fork is at 4inches with stiffest springs...

basically a whole new bike:D

now i just need 175 profiles and a new chain guide setup for it to be perfecto...oh yeah...and brakes...since mine are borrowed too....haha...

stiffer...and its not getting ridden on XC stuff so no need for fast release option...

I have some almost brand new 175mm Profiles for ya... :eek:

you know, Weagle said i could that for some low amout of $, i could get the '03 pullies for my guide. i'm thinking after christmas, i'm gonna shave the pullies i have on my evil so that they are toothless, like carlos' rear derailleur, and see if a) it'll cut down some of the noise, and b) cut back on some of the resistance. of the bikes that i've tinkered with, that have rollers (like BJs MRP), the rollers feel ultra smooth.

some of the noise comes from the guide plate when in granny gears.
