Don't wait for April of 2005 to get your Paydirt points. Come out to Russell Park at Lake Georgetown just north of Austin to help us finish the 2nd to last leg of the trail around the lake.
We're meeting at 12:50, ready to take off at 1:00 PM. Plan to work at least 4 hours, 5 if you want to.
Wear sturdy shoes, sun block, protective eyewear, leather work gloves (I have some to loan out,) food and water. It's usually best to wear an old CamelBak for the water and food. I'll provide the Paydirt forms.

To Russell: Take I-35 north to exit 261A, Lake G-town/Sun City/Andice/Granger/2338/Williams Dr. Turn left on Williams Dr. Go about 6 to 6.5 miles and turn left on CR 3405. Go about a mile and turn left on CR 262. Follow this straight to the park. Park on the right after you enter the first gate BEFORE the attendant's gate. There is no fee to park here.
From 183: Take 183 north through Seward Junction @ Hwy. 29 and cross the North San Gabriel River. Take the first right onto CR 3405. Follow this for about 5.5 miles and turn right onto CR 262. Follow this straight to the park. Park on the right after you enter the first gate BEFORE the attendant's gate. There is no fee to park here.
