Not a challenge :) , looking for a female (like myself) who's a solid intermediate level or better (I'd love that!) to ride with. Spending TOO much time on the trails alone, for obvious reasons need a partner...

I'm nice (at least I think so), I ride hard and I don't talk on the trail (how DO they do it?)...

"...let me see, 'AngryCow' or 'CatWoman'...who says women don't have choices?"

Sure you do; you can create (find) and post your own. Give it a try!

No, I really wasn't saying that women do or don't have choices (I mean on the trail, which is what we're talking about here, we mostly do, unless it's a remote area, or the Greenbelt, and one doesn't feel safe going it alone and then, well, as a woman my choices are limited, right?), I was trying to refer directly to the avatars at this site. You gotta admit the two options for women are pretty funny...I'm thinking whoever threw that together has issues with his mom (Oedipal complex?)...am I stepping on toes here? ;)

I saw the 'Ride Like a Girl' opportunity after I posted. Thanks for the replies. However, is there anything for 'women' as I'm hardly a 'girl', no braids under my helmet...

:D I'm thinking I need to throw in a "kidding" here...

It's ride like a girl as in no boys allowed :( no age implied :D I heard Debbie telling someone that she usually has a large enough group show up that it'll break up into several small groups based on skill level.

You might find someone close to your own skill/endurance level to ride with more often than once a week :) Hey it beats ridin' solo!

Ok, so I chose CatWoman...

The RLAG is great!! Debbie and the other leaders have done an awesome job! I'm an intermediate beginner and ALWAYS find other female (women) of the same age (29) and skill level to ride with. There are plenty of women out there older and younger than I. Come give it a try!!
:D
