Had a great ride with Loco-gringos and wife last Sunday. The 14 mph pace was not maintained due to the lack of excercise my wife was able to maintaine pre- and post delivery of our beautiful baby girl. She has been working on jumps on the trainer so leg speed is developing rather quickly. We are having a family gathering at her parents on Sunday afternoon. Brother returning from Iraq for short visit so while in town we will hit the flats that Belton/Temple has to offer. Although my wife states that there where hills most of us would view them as being slight grades. http://www.endlesspursuit.com/analysis/controller.aspx?nf=true&eventID=2005&GUID=36bf8b0a-1801-4e7e-a7d0-5f8d0194d2af Check out this link for the info that was downloaded. Once again great ride and thanks for the patience ya'll(John and Julie).

Hey I enjoyed seeing a detailed endless pursuits report.
I've had a Geko GPS for a while and I use some topo software. Other than that I just keep an excel spreadsheet of simple ride data; never have paid too much attention to heartrate, although i do have a timex heart monitor system.

Maybe I will invest in a endless pursuits membership---looks cool----hope the company is around a while.

And congrtas on the baby girl?

When does your brother return? I am in Kirkuk (also temporarily back to HI for r and r); we return right before XMAS---or so the story goes.

It is actually Tracy's brother and he is back for 10 days. He was a nurse at Scott and White before he went over.

The Endlesspursuit program is nice and I will check out how the software deals with my polar 720i if I can ever get XP to recognize the USB iRDA device to upload/download info from the HR monitor. Usually I just punch in the data from my HR monitor into the program so I can keep track of how I was feeling that day.

On the topic of HR monitors. I highly recommend them to anyone and especially people that have limited time for exercise. If you race they will help you control over zealous efforts. I have found this especially usefull in 12 and 24hr endurance races. If you stay below your threshold you can ride for ever as long as the equipement, food, water and mental state hold out.LOL

Yes, it is a baby girl. 3 and a half months old. Her name is Courtney Sierra.

Stay safe and good luck.
