ok. um, starting a social thursday ride in a couple of weeks. i'll do recon for a good route that'll take us from san gabriel park, through the park just past 35, back through downtown, blue hole, and back. haven't decided if we'll start/finish at the park or from dukes bbq. better pick is duke's for now. more details as they become available.

most of it, there is a small part off road that winds through the dics golf course out by north san gabriel and into the river to the country club and back. i'm gonna start working on it on monday during the day. i'm off and robin will be in sa with her mother. so i have the entire day to recon a route and clean up the trails there. it'll be fun.

Hell, im down. Ive be taking a hiatus from the Mtb sites since i got my audi. I was kinda burned out on everything that comes with the scene.

but, im down. ill show you what you already know.

i'm doing the test run this afternoon.

3 routes.

1 is winter
1 is summer
and the 3rd is a component for the summer route when dry.

today this is the route i'm following:

park and leave from duke's bbq
turn right from duke's onto morrow
turn right onto austin
turn left onto 7th
turn right onto olive
that'll take us to southwestern where we can play on the steps and then ride down into the golf course and back up to sh 29 (university dr)
head east on sh 29
turn right on college
turn left on 8th straight into blue hole park
we'll tak the park path from blue hole park into san gabriel park and around the crushed granite trail into rivery park

if dry enough, will go through disc golf park into walkway that leads to rivery road and head north
turn left on rivery rd
turn right on williams
turn right on austin
turn right on morrow into duke's

if too wet, then follow path back and take gravel rd up to dukes.

so far, that's the plan. i'll test time to do. not sure bout mileage; my puter broke.

depending on who shows up to these rides, there will be several stops at historic bldgs and sites. plus the stop at southwestern so we can play on the only big steps in town.
