I'm looking for steel -- but thanks anyway for the input. I'm hoping to get the Soulcraft. Check them out: http://www.soulcraftbikes.com

Doug Foxworthy has a Steelman Eurocross. He raced it to podium results in the 35+ last season, and I see him riding it frequently on the road including the Tuesday nighter hanging with the lead group on it. I've asked him about it, and he says he loves it and is super comfortable. Bicycle Heaven sells them as well as Indy Fab who makes similar design.

By the way, I'm gonna be selling my steel Bontrager in October.

hmmmm, Steel Bontrager. What is it?

I looked at the Steelman Evil Twin and Soulcraft Groundskeeper at BikeSport in Houston the other day. Both killer bikes.

Bontrager CX. About a '98 model I figure. Made in Santa Cruz, CA back in the day. True Temper steel frame and fork weighs 4.0 lbs (only 1/3 lb heavier than new Steelman). Built up with Campy Centaur.
