austin area swap meet

Got a bike for sale? looking for one? We are having a swap meet in the Austin area Sunday Sept. 12 at 15,500 RR620 in Round Rock. It's at the Capitol City bmx track, but it is NOT just a bmx swap. Any bike, any year, parts, memeorabilia, etc. The start time is 10:00 am. A big bmx race follows the swap. We are planning on inviting mtn. bikers and freeride to challenge bmx'ers at the race. Again, any bikes welcome at swap: antique balloon tire , mtn bike ,road bike , bmx , stingray. The location is on 620 about half way between i-35 and research, across from a mexican restaurant and a skating rink on the curve of 620. The bmx track has been there for nearly 20 years, and there is plenty of room there for a swap. We originally were going to charge folks for a space to sell, but now the more we talk about it I think it's going to free! Come on out!

Not a state race. We just all sat around at the track one day and thought it would be cool to see how big an event we could get for a single pointer. We thought about how many 28 and over inters we have here and how we could get semi's for a local single pointer. The came the mtn. bike idea, then came the swap idea. Just hope it doesn't rain.
