Yo to all you new members out there. Our first meeting had a great turnout of at least 30! That's sweet!
Like we said at the meeting, the club will offer you basically whatever you'd like out of it. This forum is our best means of communication, so keep checkin back.
Some recaps:
PLEASE plan to pay dues at the next meeting... we need a budget for the semester, so we can do cool things like host a big race in October and order uniform parts!
Speaking of uniform parts... if you expressed interest in buying parts fo the club uniform, please also plan on paying for those at the next meeting (this may or may not happen, but we'd like to get them ordered!) If you didn't express interest in getting some but you KNOW you want it (cause it rocks) then email David_Simon@baylor.edu and let me know!
Racing and road/ camping trips: Look to the upcoming races section of the forum for info SOON about the next trips we plan to take. THIS is one of the most fun parts of the club, for sure. Check the website and soon you'll find some pictures of the 6 of us that went on the trip just this last weekend. Remember, even if you don't race, you can go on the trips!
Don't forget we'll be at pop-in Thursday this Thursday at the SUB from 11 am to 1 pm. If you can come help man the table during that time and pass out popcorn with our flyers attached to the bags, shoot me an email.
Don't forget we'll be chalking Sunday night at 10 pm, assuming the weather forcast turns out to be promising... we need all the help we can get! If you would like to help please let me know through email.
Lastly... Check the RIDE SCHEDULE section of the forum every day... chances are someone will be riding when you are! AND sign yourself up with a cool name so you can post your rides... it's free!
Next meeting is next week at 9 pm, with a NEW LOCATION TBA (check the website this weekend). Meetings will be EVERY WEEK at 9, just FYI!
