Hi all,
A few others and I went this weekend to the SFA road race in Nacodoches and had an absolute ball. (Dave S got third!) As a first time rider it was a great deal of fun riding the few miles I did before I succomed to a tiny yet troublesome piece of glass that succeeded in ruining not only my tire and tube, but my race. The race wasn't difficult, and I found that most of the riders in my class were all in their first race ever like me. So here's my bit to urge all of you road riders, and mounties if you can get on the road too, to get out there this weekend and try your luck at the road race that Baylor is hosting. It'll only take you a few hours, and it's not too far to go to. You'll be surprised by how much fun you'll have just getting out there and riding with a bunch of others!
