Bikers,
Stages 3 and 4 of the Rainy Season Series starts this Sunday!
DATE / TIME:
Sunday October 3rd / 630am Show & 730am Go!
MEETING AREA:
We will meet at the top of the hill above the Ritidian Point Wildlife Refuge Park. Just head north from Potts Junction (across Alte Golf Course) and you should see us near the water tank. Just head towards Ritidian Point Park and we will meet along the road just before it descends to the park/beach.
STAGE 3 RACE ROUTE - RITIDIAN POINT HILL CLIMB:
For Stage 3, we will all ride down the road together and group at the bottom. The race will start near sea level and race back to where we parked the cars.
STAGE 4 RACE ROUTE - RITIDIAN POINT TIME TRIAL
For Stage 4, we will do an approximate 10 mile time trial starting where we park and heading five miles back to Potts Junction. We will have a turn around point and we will finish where we started.
TIME TRIAL MT BIKE RESTRICTIONS:
To keep the time trial as "fair" as possible, the following is restricted on the mt bikes: Time Trial / Aero Bars, Spinachi's, and Curly bars (road bike bars)
You CAN have: slick tires.
This series is for fun, so just use a mt bike with slick tires okay???!?!??! THANKS!
REFRESHMENTS:
At the end of the race, there will be cold water, sodas, and bananas.
