Plagued with flatsssssssssssssssss

Damn.... I couldn't even get out of downtown yesterday, after work because of flatssssssssssssssssssss.

Once I did, it was about 6:00 p.m. and you couldn't tell if the weather had cooled down at all. But hey....that doesn't matter it's not even August yet so the real heat hasn't yet begun to fry my brain.

Once I got out of downtown, I had a nice little warm-up ride going out Lake Austin Blvd. to Red Bud Trail. The hill from Town Lake going up Red Bud Trail was a good warm-up for the rest of the up hill climb on Reb Bud Trail going through Westlake Hills. After that Bee Caves Rd. going west was a breeze!!!!

Wait....now.....before you start dis'n me on this....I ride a Single Speed road bike. So for starters, if you do these hills, put it in the big ring and a cog that has 16 teeth in the rear and you'll see what I'm talkin' about! Fun...yeah it's fun once you get to the top and start spinn'n again.

I plan on doing this occasionally on Wednesdays if anyone cares to join me....no you won't really have to put it in the big ring and a small cog......unless you want to try it!

What's up Britt..

Carey(The Home) and I are looking into road bikes as a way to get our heart rates up, and it's a little more convinient at times than Mountain Biking..I'm in the process of trying to find us a Bike or two now..I'll get with ya as soon as I'm able to get some wheels..:D

Cool Greg!!! We can hook-up and ride 620 and more.

I did a ride out to Manor and back Sunday with some folks. We averaged 16mph and only stopped at the Manor Grocery store for a break. It was a mighty fine ride. We had over 30 people and there were 3 tandems.
