A collegiate race! yes!

Saturday, October 16 (pre-riding) and Sunday (race day)...

Cleburne State Park (Up I-35 towards Ft. Worth... south of dallas...)

Here is our opportunity to drop in on the collegiate race scene. So far, only a couple schools (http://209.177.135.180/sccc/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=39) have really shown up at these races... let's change that!

We will travel up saturday afteroon, leaving at 12:30 pm (eat lunch on your own), to pre-ride... they will be giving a course tour at 3 and there are several other activities happening all day saturday (This will be fun)... see above link) As awlays anyone is invited, racing or not. Plan to be back at Baylor no later than 3 or 4 pm on Sunday.

Unfortunately ALL camping sites have been reserved and we missed the boat... thus we will be booking a nearby hotel room in Cleburne for everyone, and we will get it covered by our travel budget. On that note, all race entry fees and travel expenses will be covered by our budget... all we have to pay for this weekend is food!!!!!

Post up if you're interested in this one.... include name, email, transportation needs or if you can help transport people and/or bikes...

Let's do it

sweet, some forum action!

Graham, why wouldnt you be able to ride with the team...

Update: Since the race is only like 45 mins away (i thought it was further...) we will NOT be getting a hotel room... instead we will either return after pre-riding on saturday, or perhaps we can find a compassionate team member who "lives 15 mins away" who wouldnt mind a bunch of kids crashing on his living room floor saturday night...<hint hint>... but if not it's no big deal!

Thanks to everyone who has psoted up thus far... zach the pres is going too... i believe our count has come to 7, if Graham will put "Baylor" on his registration!
